Slay the Stars

Char and Zem find themselves in their nightmare scenario with few options. They must find a way to protect their friends, save themselves, and get away. But the hunter plans to force their hand, and the resulting conflict will change our protagonists forever.

Zemira and Char finally have a moment to catch their breath and investigate the strange crate they intercepted at The Golden Tract. They're in a new city and left with more questions than answers. What could Zem's teacher Daleus be up to? Are they safe without Adhara on their trail? And the biggest question of all: What comes next?

Zem and Char head into the Murky Knot to unload some of their excess items, and while there, witness an altercation that shakes them to their core. They do some shopping in other areas of the city and receive a strange letter under suspicious circumstances. 
This may be a shopping episode, but you won't want to skip it. 

In episode 10, our protagonists head to the address from the mysterious paper and discover something that rattles Char. They do some shopping for disguises and meet two interesting salespeople who offer intriguing items to Zemira. Investigating, drinking, gambling, shopping... This episode has it all!

Zem and Char spend some time gossiping with Jeff the barkeep and learn a bit about the mob hierarchy in Oceangarde. They then make their way to the docks to search for Zem's father, Kristoff, and after that productive conversation, decide to spend a night drinking in the city. What could possibly go wrong?

For Zemira Kaltain, dreams are a tool. She never feels threatened or scared of her dreams because they are a part of her, and she is in control. Or, she was in control. Now, a new figure has entered the game, and they seem to have plans for Zem and Char. Will Zem submit to this rising dark power? And if she does, what will that mean for their friendship?

Scared, cornered, and without many other options, Zemira and Char turn to an unlikely new ally. But trusting anyone now seems foolish, and Oceangarde is becoming less and less safe. How can they escape Nexus's grasp, and where will they go next?
Episode 13 is the final in our first cour or story arc. This Friday, 8/12/2022, we'll be publishing our first recap/discussion episode where we'll cover episodes 1-13 for anyone who needs a refresher or wants to jump in but doesn't have time to listen to all 13 episodes.
